چکیده

In this paper, we first establish the existence of semi-traveling wave solutions to a diffusive generalized Holling-Tanner predator-prey model in which functional response may depend on both predator and prey populations. Then, by constructing Lyapunov function, apply obtained result show traveling models with various responses, including Lotka-Volterra type response, Holling ? Beddington-DeAngelis response.

Global stability in a diffusive Holling-Tanner predator-prey model

A diffusive Holling–Tanner predator–prey model with no-flux boundary condition is considered, and it is proved that the unique constant equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable under a new simpler parameter condition. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Pattern Formation in a Diffusive Ratio-Dependent Holling-Tanner Predator-Prey Model with Smith Growth

The spatiotemporal dynamics of a diffusive ratio-dependent Holling-Tanner predator-prey model with Smith growth subject to zero-flux boundary condition are investigated analytically and numerically. The asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium and the existence of Hopf bifurcation around the positive equilibrium are shown; the conditions of Turing instability are obtained. And with the ...

Prey cannibalism alters the dynamics of Holling-Tanner type predator-prey models

Cannibalism, which is the act of killing and at least partial consumption of conspecifics, is ubiquitous in nature. Mathematical models have considered cannibalism in the predator primarily, and show that predator cannibalism in two species ODE models provides a strong stabilizing effect. There is strong ecological evidence that cannibalism exists among prey as well, yet this phenomenon has bee...

Existence of traveling wave solutions in a diffusive predator-prey model.

We establish the existence of traveling front solutions and small amplitude traveling wave train solutions for a reaction-diffusion system based on a predator-prey model with Holling type-II functional response. The traveling front solutions are equivalent to heteroclinic orbits in R(4) and the small amplitude traveling wave train solutions are equivalent to small amplitude periodic orbits in R...
